Security built for medical data

Fertility data is some of the most sensitive medical data there is. MyFertPlan protects it with a separate space for each clinic, access based on role, encryption and an audit log.

Our security measures

We work in line with GDPR and HIPAA. These are the measures that keep your clinic’s data and your patients’ data safe.

Each clinic in its own space

Every clinic’s data is kept completely separate. Other clinics can’t see your patients or your information.

Access based on role

Around 65 permissions let doctors, assistants, biologists and administrators each see only what they need for their work. If someone’s role changes, their access changes immediately.

Encrypted patient data

Data is encrypted at rest. Names, contact details, dates of birth and messages to patients can’t be read without the right keys.

Secure sign-in

Your team can sign in with your organisation’s own account (single sign-on via SAML or OIDC). Patients receive a one-time code by email or text message that expires after a few minutes.

Support only with your permission

Our support team can only access your clinic’s data when you allow it, and only for a limited time. You can withdraw that access at any moment.

Every action recorded

A HIPAA and GDPR audit log records who viewed or changed patient data, who signed in and who exported information, so you always know what happened and when.

Protection against attacks

Repeated attempts to guess sign-in codes are limited, and modern browser protections block common web attacks.

Checked with every update

Every update to MyFertPlan passes automatic security checks, and changes to sensitive parts of the platform get an extra security review before release.
